Luke Bryan has proven time and time again on his social media that he’s all about spending time with his sons and “hunting, fishing, and lovin’ every day.” On his new album, Mind Of A Country Boy, Luke has a special song called “Fish On The Wall,” which he did not write himself but embodies his childhood and his three sons as well.
The country star told us in a recent interview, “Every day, I pulled my dad’s boots off when he got home, and we were like a cowboy boot family; but we were more like a hunting boot family. Anytime you got boots for Christmas, it was like: boots and a BB gun. You’d put them on and go running around in the woods with your new boots and your new gun.”
He added, “I love the way that chorus, ‘He’ll wear em’ till he wears ’em out,’ it’s just a well-done song. It just speaks rural working culture, the heart of what country music fans love. When my sons come to me, and they go, ‘Dad, take me fishing,’ the reason that they are doing that is that I carried them along in this thing. It’s little connections between father and son.”
Bryan is making some changes to his annual Farm Tour, and one of those changes will be its location for 2025. That new location is California.
Luke said in a statement, “With the Farm Tour being such a unique type of show in rural towns we have to be really intentional on where we go in order to have the best experience for the fans all while lifting up the farming community and what they do for our country. I have always wanted to raise awareness for the West Coast farmer, and I’m so excited to get to do that this year.”
He adds, “Gonna be amazing.”
The three Farm Tour shows booked for mid-May are timed around the season finale of American Idol.
