Kourtney Kardashian shouts, “Run, Travis, run,” in her husband, Travis Barker’s, new video. He’s launching two runs in Los Angeles and Queens, and wants his fans to come join him for the ride.
In a re-enactment of Forrest Gump, Travis Barker donned his best red hat for a production video. He jogged along a tranquil path before Kourtney Kardashian pops up to make her cameo.
Travis Barker channels Forrest Gump
Travis Barker wore a red hat for the Kardashians-esque production video. He announced a new website, Run Travis Run, encouraging marathon-lovers to join him for two long runs this summer.
He jogged along a grass-like path to emotional background music, revealing, “I just felt like running.” Much like in the iconic Forrest Gump film, he wore a blue striped t-shirt and cream chinos.
One fan commented, “This video should start with Travis saying, “This is a Kardashian production” 😅.” Barker announced he will be running on July 6 in LA and July 21 in Queens.
Kourtney is, as always, the supportive wife. She’s traveled the USA with Travis while he’s on tour with Blink 182, announcing she’s pregnant at one of his music gigs, and now supports his new venture.
She makes her cameo at the end of the clip, wearing a blue dress, waving him off as she calls to him, “Run, Travis, run,” and smiling. However, fans don’t think she’s very convincing.
One fan wrote, “Damn Kourtney could’ve tried a little harder on that one LMA|O,” while another penned, “I thought the exact same thing.” Fans say she has “no acting skills” in the tank.
Inside Travis’ new venture
Run Travis Run is a run and wellness experience the morning of the July Blink 182 concerts in LA and Queens. In the same way his wife runs her own wellness brand, Poosh, he’s doing his thing.
After his plane crash in 2008, more than 70 percent of Travis’ body was burned. “I was told by doctors that I may never be able to walk or play drums the same again,” he writes on his website.
Travis added, “It started off with short walks and then that turned into short runs every day. I felt this sense of calmness and a rush of dopamine every time I ran. I’ve kept this up for years now.”
He now runs for three miles every day before his tour gigs, and ran his first half-marathon earlier this year. Barker wants to bring together like-minded people so they can all run and support one another!
