NFL star Dak Prescott has spoken of his joy after officially becoming a father for the first time. The Dallas Cowboys quarterback and girlfriend Sarah Jane Ramos welcomed their first child, a baby girl nicknamed “baby MJ”, into the world on Thursday and described how his life has changed forever.
Prescott announced the exciting news in front of the media on Monday, speaking at length about on how he feels now that he is dad. The 30-year-old also confirmed that both his girlfriend Ramos and their newborn are healthy and resting at home.

Reflecting on the changes happening in his own life, Prescott spoke about how he instantly felt a change in his priorities when his child was born.
“Yeah, I feel different,” he said. “Especially when you wake up in the morning and you see that baby, you understand those possibilities. Everything that I’ve always wanted for myself, but to want that for somebody else even more. It’s special.
“Baby’s doing great, momma’s doing great. Everybody’s healthy and at home. We’re blessed.”
Prescott is more accustomed to passing footballs than changing diapers, and he joked he had to “pass that job off” after doing four diaper changes.
“Changed the first one and then about two or three after that,” he said. “Then I try to pass that job off.”

The Dallas Cowboys man debuted his new hairstyle this week with fans making an instant comparison to the Philadelphia Eagles star Jalen Hurts. After going for a light trim on top, the experienced quarterback shaved off his trademark beard and opted for a neat goatee instead.
Prescott was an MVP candidate this past season, throwing for 4,516 yards and 36 touchdowns, with only nine interceptions. He also rushed for 242 yards and two scores, but it wasn’t enough to get him the MVP award, with Lamar Jackson winning instead.
