Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott announced his girlfriend, Sarah Jane Ramos, gave birth to the couple’s daughter last week.
Prescott told reporters on on Monday that both his girlfriend and “baby MJ” are healthy after his daughter was born on Thursday.
“Yeah, I feel different,” he said. “Especially when you wake up in the morning, you see that baby and understand the responsibilities. Everything that I’ve always wanted for myself, but to want that for somebody else even more. It’s special. Baby’s doing great, mom’s doing great, everybody’s healthy and at home and we’re blessed.”

While the new father and three-time Pro Bowl passer has no issue with stepping up in the pocket and throwing with NFL defenders in his face, changing diapers are a different type of obstacle to overcome.
“Just a handful,” Prescott joked with the media when asked about the amount of diapers he’s changed so far. “Changed the first one, then about two or three after that, then I try to pass that job along.”
The 30-year-old is coming off an impressive 2023 campaign with the Cowboys, leading Dallas to a first-place finish in the NFC East. His 36 touchdown passes led all signal-callers, while he completed 69.5 percent of his throws for 4,516 yards.
Prescott’s strong season was enough to earn a second-place finish in MVP voting.
