Golf social media sensation Paige Spiranac admits she has never played better golf than this season and that she has never been more passionate about the game heading into 2025.

Paige Spiranac has taken to Instagram to reveal she is currently playing the best golf of her life and that she has never been more passionate about the sport heading into 2025.

Spiranac, 31, is now playing off an incredible +4 handicap, testament to her enjoying the best golf of her career.

After a brilliant college career, Spiranac played in a handful of Ladies European Tour events and then attempted to make a career on the LPGA Tour.

But she ultimately came up short in 2016 and decided to make a career for herself on social media and YouTube.

Spiranac also admitted she struggled to cope with the mental side of the game back then.

But things haven’t worked out badly for Paige in the slightest as she is now one of the most successful golf social media influencers in the world.

Paige has very much excelled in the golf media industry over the past few years, testament to her having a gigantic 4m followers on Instagram.

That is 500,000 more followers than 15-time major champion Tiger Woods and 1m more than Rory McIlroy, who once again entered the record books on the DP World Tour over the weekend.

Paige is still active on Instagram and X / Twitter but she posts the majority of her latest content on Passes now.

Current runaway World No.1 Scottie Scheffler recently admitted during a PGA Tour press conference that he typically plays off a +7 handicap when playing against locals at his home club in Texas.

Record 18-time major champion Jack Nicklaus was +4 when he turned pro in 1961.

According to the Ladies European Tour, two-time winner Esther Henseleit has the lowest ever recorded ladies golf handicap in Europe of +7.1 before she turned pro in 2019.

LPGA Tour legend Annika Sorenstam was reportedly +3 when she turned pro in 1992.

Spiranac also admits she has never been more passionate about the sport as we head into 2025.

So much so Spiranac aims to post even more golf content on Instagram next season.

Paige sent a lengthy post on the platform to update her fans on her plans.

Spiranac posts a range of different content on her social media channels.

She also has her own YouTube channel where she posts a lot of instruction content, especially for golf beginners.

Some golf fans out there believe Spiranac doesn’t post enough golf-specific content, but she aims to put that to bed, especially in 2025.

That’s because Paige admits she is playing the best golf of her career right now, playing to a very respectable +4 handicap.

To put Spiranac’s achievement into perspective, Rory McIlroy was a +6 handicap when he turned professional.

Tiger Woods was +8 when he was 20.
