The UN goodwill ambassador said in her speech that decision-makers need to ‘redefine and de-stigmatize men’s roles as caregivers,’ pointing at issues germane to the ongoing social climate of the day.
‘In order to liberate women, we need to liberate men,’ she said. ‘Why do we continue to undervalue fathers and overburden mothers?’
