Chris Brown has received over a dozen new certifications from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).
Most notably, his 2019 single “No Guidance” with Drake has been certified diamond for selling 11 million equivalent units in the U.S. It becomes Brown’s first RIAA diamond-certified single and Drake’s eighth.
The No. 1 hit is lifted from Brown’s 2019 album, Indigo, which is now certified 3x platinum for selling over three million equivalent units. Indigo joins Brown’s other 3x platinum albums, Chris Brown and F.A.M.E.
Brown’s 2007 sophomore album, Exclusive, remains his best-selling album to date, with over four million equivalent units sold as of Oct. 21, 2021.
Speaking of Exclusive, two of the album’s singles have received new RIAA awards. The Johntá Austin-penned “With You” is now 6x platinum (six million units), while the sensual “Take You Down” is now double platinum (two million units).
Meanwhile, the SWV-sampled “She Ain’t You,” lifted from F.A.M.E., is now double platinum.

Circling back to Indigo, a few songs from the have also received new RIAA certifications. Here’s a full breakdown:
- “No Guidance” with Drake – 11x platinum (11 million units sold)
- “Indigo” – platinum (one million units sold)
- “Heat” featuring Gunna – 4x platinum (four million units sold)
- “Under The Influence” – 5x platinum (five million units sold)
Brown has also received new awards for tracks from his eighth album, Heartbreak on a Full Moon. Here is an overview:
- “Tempo“- 2x platinum (two million units sold)
- “Party” featuring Usher and Gucci Mane – 3x platinum (three million units sold)
- “Privacy” – 3x platinum (three million units sold)
- “To My Bed” – platinum (one million units sold)
- “Juicy Booty” featuring Jhené Aiko and R. Kelly – gold (500,000 units sold)
Additionally, Brown’s 10th album, Breezy, is now certified gold with over 500,000 equivalent units sold.
Two of the album’s singles have also secured new RIAA awards: “Call Me Every Day” featuring Wizkid is now platinum, and “WE (Warm Embrace)” is now gold.
Fast-forward to Brown’s latest album, 11:11. The opening track, “Angel Numbers / Ten Toes,” is now gold.
Last but not least, Brown and Ciara have earned a gold certification for their collaboration “How We Roll,” which appears on Ciara’s 2023 EP, CiCi.

In other news, Brown is nominated for three awards at the 67th Grammy Awards, which will be held on Sunday, Feb. 2, 2025.
The Grammy winner is nominated for Best R&B Performance (“Residuals“), Best R&B Album (11:11 Deluxe), and Best African Music Performance (“Sensational” featuring Davido and Lojay).
