Angel Reese has reacted to Simone Biles’ new look after the Olympic icon was spotted watching the Chicago Bulls with her husband Jonathan Owens.
Biles was in the spotlight earlier this week as she made an appearance at Thursday’s Bulls-Timberwolves game. The record-breaking U.S. gymnast was in attendance with Owens ahead of Sunday’s NFL game between his Chicago Bears team and the New England Patriots at Solider Field.
After becoming the most decorated U.S. gymnast of all-time during the Paris Olympics, Biles has been enjoying her success on tour but took time out for herself as she had a makeover while in Chicago. Biles teamed up with makeup artist Deja Blackwell, who has also styled Reese.
A picture of Biles was posted on Instagram where she sat with a beaming smile and posed for a couple of shots following her makeover. Reese commented on the post, lauding Biles’ smile and beauty as she wrote: “FACE EATS”. The WNBA star was asked in response by Blackwell about putting on eyeshadow when she comes home, to which Reese sternly replied: “absolutely NOT”.
The Chicago Sky star has been enjoying her off-season break following the conclusion of the WNBA season. Reese’s record-breaking year was cut short due to a wrist injury that required surgery but she is out of her cast and back training for her second season in the league after starring in endorsement ads for Beats and Reebok.
Reese’s popularity has helped grow the WNBA and simultaneously landed her major deals with Beats, where she narrated a star-studded sporting cast line-up, and with Reebok where she will be releasing her own footwear brand.

Having finished her debut WNBA season with 13.6 points per game, a league-best 13.1 rebounds, and breaking the WNBA’s single-season rookie double-double record, Reese has become a superstar in the sport, finishing second in the Rookie of the Year voting behind Indiana Fever sensation Caitlin Clark. Reese’s fame has seen her continue to brush shoulders with some of the biggest names in sport, including Biles.
Biles has also cooked up a great relationship with Clark too having dropped in as a surprise guest when she and fellow Olympic gold medalist Gabby Thomas watched the Fever beat the Connecticut Sun last season. “Simone and I went to the Fever game, which was incredible. The energy in that stadium, fantastic. We actually surprised Caitlin [Clark],” Thomas recalled to NBC. “We were hiding next to their locker room and waiting for them to run out. The entire team was floored and Caitlin was so shocked.”
The superstar gymnast also added her own message on X back in August where she issued a supportive message for the WNBA and women’s sport. “EVERYONE WATCHES WOMEN’S SPORTS. So happy to be able to go support! My first of many WNBA games.”
