IT Chapter 3: Welcome to Derry – Trailer | James McAvoy, Jessica Chastain

The terrifying tale continues with “IT Chapter 3: Welcome to Derry,” the much-anticipated third installment of the popular horror franchise. Set to hit theaters in 2025, the film will see the return of the beloved cast from “IT Chapter 2,” including James McAvoy, Jessica Chastain, Bill Hader, Isaiah Mustafa, Jay Ryan, James Ransone, and Andy Bean. Warner Bros. and New Line Cinema are once again teaming up to bring Stephen King’s chilling universe back to the big screen.

“IT Chapter 3: Welcome to Derry” delves deeper into the cursed history of Derry, Maine, uncovering the town’s dark secrets and the origins of the malevolent entity known as Pennywise. The narrative will take audiences back to different eras, revealing how Pennywise has terrorized the town’s residents for centuries. Fans can expect a blend of heart-pounding horror and emotional storytelling as the Losers’ Club confronts their deepest fears and uncovers new horrors lurking beneath the surface.

Director Andy Muschietti returns to helm this final chapter, promising to deliver an even more intense and terrifying experience. Muschietti’s vision for “Welcome to Derry” aims to push the boundaries of horror cinema, combining innovative special effects with deeply psychological scares. The screenplay, written by Gary Dauberman, promises to tie together the threads of the previous films while introducing fresh elements that will keep audiences on the edge of their seats. In a statement, Muschietti expressed his excitement about continuing the story: “We’ve only scratched the surface of Derry’s dark past. ‘Welcome to Derry’ will explore the town’s history and Pennywise’s origins in a way that will surprise and terrify our audience. We’re thrilled to have our incredible cast back to bring this chilling story to life.”
