Verity is being released sooner than we expected

Anne Hathaway has confirmed the release date for Verity, and it’s sooner than fans expected.

A film adaptation of Colleen Hoover’s best-selling novel will hit the big screen on May 15th, 2026.

In a video on Instagram, Anne Hathaway confirmed that fans have just a little over a year to wait.

She wrote, “So Be It… that’s a wrap on the #VerityMovie production! See you in theaters May 15, 2026.”

Hoover’s self-published novel quickly became one of the most popular books in women’s fiction.

It came as no surprise to see the book optioned with over three million copies sold.

Josh Hartnett and Dakota Johnson will also star alongside Anne Hathaway in the movie.
