Simone Biles made a surprise visit to the “Today” show to showcase her support for anchor Hoda Kotb on her final day.
For the occasion, Biles wore a pair of black slingback pumps that curved in the upper to create an almond-toe design. Pairing the shoes with black tights, a silver oval was present on the back, with the shoe being completed by a 3 inch stiletto heel. Wearing a colorful jacket reflective of the season, Biles called Kotb her “Olympic mom,” noting that she was grateful for the platform Kotb had given her along with her teammates over the years.
In early January, Biles was named Sports Illustrated’s 2024 Sportsperson of the Year, where she showed off a number of statement-making outfits in her photoshoot. Some of the portraits included her wearing the Meg turtleneck bodysuit by SER.O.YA., which she teamed with Retrofête’s Braelynn’s Crystal Hot Shorts, and a pair of strappy heels from Giuseppe Zanotti.
During her interview, she told the publication that she is unsure of what the future holds for her in regards to Olympic competition. “Because I’ve accomplished so much, there’s almost nothing left to do, rather than to just be snobby and to try again and for what? I’m at a point in my career where I’m humble enough to know when to be done.”
Biles has also worn many noteworthy looks while supporting husband Jonathan Owens on the sidelines at his football games this year. This included the custom tracksuit she was spotted in during the holiday as the Chicago Bears took on the Seattle Seahawks.
