Rick Ross was arrested on Wednesday after an officer allegedly found five joints in his car.
The rapper, whose birth name is William Leonard Roberts II, was taken into custody after an officer pulled him over on Ga. 279 for an alleged window tint violation, according to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
It was then that the officer smelled pot and searched the rapper’s vehicle.
He was arrested and booked into Fayette County Jail, where he remained as of 11 p.m. Wednesday evening.
Ross has been arrested multiple times throughout the years for possession of marijuana, including incidents in Miami in 2008, in Louisiana in 2011 and in North Carolina in 2013.
