The first round of Deadpool & Wolverine reactions have arrived as critics give their early thoughts on the Marvel Cinematic Universe adventure. Wade Wilson is finally making his debut in the current Marvel timeline, with Deadpool & Wolverine exploring his exit from 20th Century Fox’s X-Men universe. However, as Wade tackles the multiverse, he will be joining forces with Hugh Jackman’s new version of Wolverine, marking the first time since 2017’s Logan that the Australian actor returns to the franchise.

Screen Rant’sTatiana Hullender shared that “between all the quips, F-bombs, and blood baths,”Deadpool & Wolverine is definitely pulling the emotional heartstrings, praising Reynolds and Jackman for “understanding what a millennial like me loved about the 20th Century Fox universe.”
