Chris Brown is warning fans to watch what they wear to his upcoming tour to avoid looking like they are affiliated with a gang.
After securing tickets, fans have been gearing up for Chris Brown’s “Breezy Bowl XX World Tour,” which is set to celebrate his 2005 self-titled debut album.
They have also begun to plan their outfits online, and many of the ideas involved wearing red bandanas, which would pay homage to Brown’s past looks, such as the bandana in his “Residuals” music video.
Chris Brown’s warning for fans ahead of his 2025 tour
Soon after these posts were made, the R&B singer swiftly took to his Instagram story on April 6 to steer fans away from wearing the red bandanas.
“I see a lot of the fans collectively telling Team Breezy to wear red bandannas to the concert,” he wrote. “I would highly advise yall to NOT do that! Just get brown bandannas so yall won’t run into any problems. I don’t want people to get the wrong impression and promote the wrong thing!”
He did not follow up with any reason after about not wanting fans to wear the red bandana to his upcoming stadium tour, but the red bandana has long been associated with gang affiliations in various cities. And it could be especially risky wearing the bandana in specific locations across the tour.
