Luke Bryan has yet to win a Grammy, but the country star still has plenty of awards to his name—including one very recent honor.
On Sunday, March 23, Bryan became the 11th inductee into the Star Trail of Fame in a special ceremony at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.
“Luke Bryan has consistently been one of the most desired performers at Rodeo Houston and his influence on our organization and our attendees is immeasurable,” Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo’s President and CEO, Chris Boleman, said in a press release, adding, “Bryan is a reflection of all the best of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, and we are proud to induct him into the Star Trail of Fame.”
Bryan’s performance at this year’s ceremony was his 12th at the same event since 2012.
“What an honor it has been for me to perform at Rodeo Houston for so many years,” he said. “The dedication the Rodeo has on Texas students and the community is something I am so proud to have contributed to.”
A place on the Star Trail of Fame Wall is a coveted position. Other notable performers who’ve received the honor in the past include Alan Jackson, Brad Paisley, Elvis Presley, Gene Autry, George Strait, Reba and Selena.
