Paige Spiranac stepped away from the golf course to embrace a new sport as she took a trip to the NASCAR track, and the social media star was left in awe of the high-speed action
Golf influencer Paige Spiranac swapped her clubs for the thrill of racing, as she dazzled fans at Daytona International Speedway earlier this year. She made a special appearance ahead of the Coke Zero Sugar 400, taking to the wheel of the honorary pace car.
For this occasion, Spiranac sported a chic ensemble that featured a cropped black top, denim shorts, and a mix of cowboy boots and high heels.
Getting into the racing vibe, she was seen snapping pictures by the pace car and captured a moment with Frank Kelleher, the Daytona International Speedway president, as well as Team USA’s Parker Valby, who recently made a splash at the Paris Games.

The highlight for Spiranac, though, came when she got behind the wheel of the pace car. She shared exhilarating videos with her followers on social media, clutching onto her cowboy hat as the car sped around the track.

Afterward, overcome with emotion and battling tears, she shared: “OK, post-pace car I am emotional because that was one of the coolest things I have ever done,” gushing to her over five million fans on Twitter and Instagram. In awe, she continued: “To hear the cars as they come flying by me right now… Oh my god! Big NASCAR girl. The biggest.”
Spiranac has been all cheers for NASCAR and motorsports analyst Mamba Smith after an epic day out. “Thank you Daytona and Nascar for this incredible day! You need to go if you haven’t been to a NASCAR race before. Wow! ” she said excitedly.
On seizing opportunities, she advised on Fox Business: “There’s a lot of opportunities that come through your door and always respond back as quickly and as soon as you can,” and encouraged embracing different chances by adding, “Second, say yes to a lot of different opportunities.”
She spoke about battling self-doubt and the motivation to step out of one’s comfort zone, noting, “That’s something that I have done throughout my career, where there are times when you’re scared, and you don’t feel like you’re capable, and there is imposter syndrome, and everything is [telling] you, ‘No, don’t do it, don’t do it, don’t do it.’ But the best thing to do is to do it.”
