Hollywood star Anne Hathaway turned heads during the New York Knicks-Chicago Bulls game Wednesday.
Wearing a denim top and sunglasses, Hathaway watched the game from the celebrity row along with her husband, Adam Shulman, and one of their sons sporting a Knicks jersey.
The multi-awarded actress, who starred in box office hits such as the “Princess Diaries, “Ella Enchanted” and “The Devil Wears Prada,” animatedly cheered for the Knicks.
But she had a scary moment when Knicks star OG Anunoby nearly crashed into her while he was saving a loose ball.
Luckily, Anunoby only knocked down Hathaway’s popcorn during the accident.
Instead of getting mad, Hathaway was a good sport and even thanked Anunoby for fulfilling what she called a “bucket list moment.”
“I almost got crashed into last night! I always wanted that to happen. Thanks OG!” Hathaway said in an Instagram video she posted Thursday.
Anunoby was quick to reply with a short message.
“You’re welcome,” the Knicks forward said in the comment thread.
Several fans replied to Anunoby’s comments with similar theme, telling him to “chill.”
The near crash accident was the silver lining in Hathaway’s experience of watching the Knicks game as her hometown team lost to the Bulls in a heartbreaking fashion.
Knicks star point guard Jalen Brunson missed the potential game winner at the buzzer as the Bulls escaped with a 124-123 win.
Anunoby finished with 14 points and nine rebounds.
