Global R&B star Chris Brown has opened up about an unusual yet deeply personal ritual he practices while on tour, sneaking out alone at night in various cities to feel “human and normal.”
Currently headlining his Breezy Bowl XX World Tour, Brown took to Instagram this week to share his secret to staying mentally balanced amid the chaos of fame.
Alongside masked-up photos of himself wandering the streets of Amsterdam in all-black attire, the singer revealed how these solo night outings keep him grounded.

“Fun fact: I like to sneak out by myself when I’m in different cities,” he wrote. “It helps me feel human and normal. That’s really important for my mental due to the fact that I just can’t walk around freely during the day. Keeps me grounded.”
Chris Brown went on to reflect on the isolating nature of fame, noting that being constantly cut off from everyday activities can have a serious impact on one’s mental health.
