If Anne Hathaway can outfit repeat, so can you.
The actor stepped out in New York City this Thursday, post Met Gala madness, in a statement jacket that she first debuted last month—only this time, she styled it with a few different easy staples.
The piece in question is a golden lamé barn jacket from Christopher John Rogers’s fiery collaboration with J.Crew. The metallic piece dropped in the fall of 2024 and sold out almost immediately.

Last time, the Devil Wears Prada star wore the jacket over a denim button-up and wide-leg jeans with frayed hems, from Stella McCartney. For shoes, she went with burgundy Adidas Sambas.
This time around, Hathaway also styled the jacket with denim: straight-leg blue jeans that she cuffed at the ends. But she went more minimal with the rest of her look, opting for a plain black top and black leather snakeskin-embossed boots. She accessorized with a black crossbody bag with a chain strap, oversize black shades and silver hoop earrings, and was seen carrying some totes filled with goodies from Westsider Records. We love a stylish local shopper.
Hathaway’s low-key outing comes just a few days after she wowed in a crisp white shirt and beaded maxi skirt from Carolina Herrera at the 2025 Met Gala. She was all elegance on the steps of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in the look, which she capped off with a massive diamond necklace with a giant rectangular sapphire at the center, from Bulgari.
