Plenty of Arsenal fans were delighted to see Bukayo Saka back in action against Fulham on Tuesday night, scoring just minutes into his return to secure the Gunners all three points.
But one of the more unexpected Saka supporters was Hollywood actress Anne Hathaway, who shared a picture of herself (shown above) wearing an Arsenal shirt on Instagram.
“Welcome back #7,” Hathaway wrote, adding: “#COYG”

It’s not news that the actress is an Arsenal fan, with that information emerging during a couple of interviews last year.
Hathaway’s The Idea of You co-star Nicholas Galitzine also supports the Gunners, and he revealed Hathaway’s fandom in a segment with Now TV.
“You know, a really fun fact: Anne Hathaway is a massive Arsenal supporter as well,” he said in 2024. “I’m in a group chat with her family, who are all Arsenal supporters. [They’re] obssessed.”
The two were then filmed celebrating a Leandro Trossard goal the following month, and Trossard subsequently sent a message of thanks to them.

“Hey Anne,” Trossard began. “I really loved your celebration the other day for my goal. Keep supporting us, and I’ll hopefully see you soon at the Emirates!”
Hathaway made her acting breakthrough in TV series Get Real, and she’s gone on to star in some of the world’s biggest blockbusters.
From Interstellar to Les Miserables, The Dark Knight Rises, Rio, and The Devil Wears Prada, you’d be hard pressed to find someone who hasn’t seen a movie the 42-year-old has appeared in.
But when she has some time away from the world of cinema, it seems she enjoys following Arsenal with the rest of us.
