Fans trying to see Chris Brown on tour later this year have slammed the ‘ridiculously expensive’ cost for tickets.

The rapper and musician announced details last week of his forthcoming Breezy Bowl XX World Tour, which will see him play more than 30 shows between June and September.

The tour will include seven shows in the UK and Ireland, including dates in Cardiff, London, Birmingham, Dublin and Glasgow. His first UK shows will take place at Manchester’s Co-op Live on June 15 and 16.

Some early presale opportunities for tickets began this morning (March 31) ahead of the general sale taking place on Thursday (April 3) at 10am local time. Tickets will be available on sites including Ticketmaster and Live Nation.

However, some fans have said they have been priced out after seeing the cost of tickets. According to Ticketmaster, tickets have been priced in advance by the tour promoters and range from £76.50 to £498.44, including fees.

One fan, who was greeted with £374 venue hospitality tickets for the London Tottenham Hotspur Stadium show on June 21, posted on X: “£374 for Chris Brown tickets. Nah I’m good you man enjoy.”

One person responded: “I thought there was a glitch at first cause surely not. Who is paying these prices???” Another said: “Insane”.

Prices for the Co-op Live show, via Ticketmaster, include standard tickets between £76.50 and £455.70, with VIP packages (including Premium Early Entry VIP Gold Circle and seated packages) priced between £143.95 to £479.95 each.

Another fan said: “So I just joined the Chris Brown presale and tickets were so ridiculously expensive and they were almost all gone, kinda ****ing it now.”

One other posted: “UGH I didn’t get tickets in the presale for chris brown bc i ain’t sitting at the back of the stadium with a restricted view for £100.” Another said: “Apparently Chris Brown tickets might be £120 loool I ain’t paying that.”

Some fans, however, were keen to share their excitement at being able to secure tickets early. One fan posted on X: “I CAN’T BELIEVE I AM SEEING CHRIS BROWN AGAIN AHHHH.”

Another wrote: “Chris Brown tickets secured! Thank you.” One other said: “Working extra so I can pay for Chris brown tickets lol”.

The Breezy Bowl XX World Tour will begin in Amsterdam on June 8, and will continue across the UK, Europe, and North America, before ending in Arlington, TX on September 3. During the UK shows, Chris will be supported by American singer and rapper Bryson Tiller.

General sale for Chris Brown tickets will begin from 10am on Thursday (April 3) via sites including Ticketmaster and Live Nation.
