It was a big day for celebrity sightings Wednesday in Flagler County, with country superstar and “American Idol” judge Luke Bryan spotted at Flagler Executive Airport in Palm Coast.
“Flagler Executive Airport had a special visitor today — country music superstar Luke Bryan!” gushed a post on the KIX Country 98.7 FM Facebook page. “He made a surprise landing right here in Flagler County, and we’ve got the exclusive photo to prove it!”
Bryan was greeted by Roy Sieger, director of Flagler Executive Airport, during the stop, according to the post, which garnered 2,500 views and generated more than 250 comments.
Most of the latter were desperately seeking more information about where else the singer might be spotted in the area.
“Is he still around today? Has anyone seen him? And if so where??!!” posted Lisa Denny, reflecting the sentiments of many others who commented on the thread.

Others speculated that Bryan had friends in the Flagler area or that he might be staying at the Hammock Beach Golf Resort & Spa.
Nor was a representative with Flagler Executive Airport immediately available to comment on Bryan’s arrival there.
Luke Bryan not the only celeb in Flagler County
Luke Bryan wasn’t the only famous face in town Wednesday.
TV celebrity Dog the Bounty Hunter offered an inspirational message to roughly 40 inmates that same afternoon at the Sheriff Perry Hall Inmate Detention Facility in Flagler County.

The message focused on striving to put past mistakes in the rearview mirror because it’s never too late to turn your life around.
“If you don’t change what you’re doing, you’ll either be dead or doing more time,” Dog said. “This could be your last chance.”
Flagler County Sheriff Rick Staly, who already had a connection with the TV star, invited him to talk with the prisoners as well as speaking to deputies about his experiences a career bail bondsman.
