Simone Biles Wearing Custom Varsity Jacket for Bears-Packers Game

Simone Biles went viral at the Chicago Bears preseason opener against the Buffalo Bills after wearing a jacket repping her husband, Jonathan Owens. It was a nice gesture from the 27-year-old gymnast, but the coat displayed a Green Bay Packers logo, which was Owens’ previous team before signing with the Bears.

Biles was rather busy during the NFL offseason, winning three gold medals and one silver at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, France. But many were flabbergasted she still wore the jacket due to the heated rivalry between Chicago and Green Bay.

In Week 11, the Bears are taking on the Packers in a home game as they aim to snap a three-game losing streak. Biles made an appearance leading up to the coin toss, wearing a different jacket to support her husband.

This time around, the seven-time gold medalist wore a custom-made Bears-themed varsity jacket to the game. She was spotted wearing the coat on the sideline while talking with Owens before kickoff.

This isn’t the first time Biles arrived to a Bears game in a team-themed coat. In the Week 10 matchup against the New England Patriots, the superstar Olympic champion wore a white Bears jacket to the game.

Biles and Owens have shown plenty of support for one another over the years. While Biles has rooted for her husband throughout the NFL season, Owens went viral several times during the 2024 Summer Olympics supporting his wife.

Sports fans seemingly love the interactions between Biles and Owens. After seeing her Bears-themed jacket on Sunday, many displayed words of support for the couple.

“Power couple goals! Supporting each other on and off the field,” stated one individual.

One fan claimed, “Family support is everything.”

“Supporting others is key,” said another fan.

This fan stated, “Very nice, they both looking so beautiful.”

“Having Simone Biles show up is enough to make a mans game go viral,” claimed another individual.

We may see Biles rep different jackets as the back half of the NFL season progresses. Especially now that we’re in the cold months. Including Sunday’s game against the Packers, the six of the Bears’ final eight games are against NFC North rivals.
