All-time great Olympic gymnast Simone Biles is heading into the next chapter of her relationship with Jonathan Owens.
The highly-publicized celebrity athlete couple are soon-to-be home owners.
Biles tied the knot with Owens, an NFL defensive back for the Chicago Bears, back in April 2023. A few months later, the married couple began construction on a new lake-front Texas mansion.
Biles and Owens are getting closer and closer to the completion of their new home.
Biles recently shared an update on the construction, showing progress on the outdoor swimming pool, three-car garage, marble counter-top kitchen and laundry room.
“Obviously had to check on the progress at the new house,” Biles wrote on her Instagram story.
The 4,000-square-foot, four-bedroom, 3.5-bathroom mansion is located near Biles’ childhood home in Spring, Texas — an area just outside of Houston. The mansion sits on more than an acre of Texas land.
When construction is complete, the home will feature a game room, home theater and wet bar.
Biles is currently on the Gold Over America Tour, traveling around the United States with some of the country’s best gymnasts. With the Bears on a bye week in Week 7, Owens came to visit Biles on tour.
“Bye week — bae comes on tour,” Biles wrote in a post on Instagram.
Biles furthered her reputation as the greatest gymnast of all-time during her appearance at the 2024 Paris Olympics this past summer. The 27-year-old athlete won gold in the Team finals, All-Around and Vault. She also notched silver in Floor Exercise, bringing her all-time Olympic medal count to 11.
