According to the latest confirmation from Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige, Tom Holland will return to the MCU in the newest Spider-Man film. Preparations are underway for the character’s comeback in Spider-Man 4, although no specific release date has been set.
“All I can reveal right now is that we already have a new storyline. A great idea for Spider-Man’s return, and the writing team has already started working on the script,” Kevin Feige told Entertainment Weekly in an interview.
Tom Holland’s last appearance in the MCU was in Spider-Man: No Way Home. The film became a global blockbuster, grossing over $1.9 billion and marking the most profitable project in Sony Pictures’ history. Afterward, fans were left uncertain about the fate of Spider-Man 4.
At the end of 2021, producer Amy Pascal confirmed that Tom Holland’s Spider-Man would remain in the MCU, with Sony and Marvel Studios set to create a new trilogy instead of ending their collaboration.
