Anne Hathaway isn’t just any mom — she’s the kind of mom who takes her kids to the Super Bowl.
Hathaway, 42, was spotted on the jumbotron at Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans on Sunday, February 9, with her 5-year-old son, Jack. Jack sat in his mom’s lap as the pair, dressed in Philadelphia Eagles green, cheered on their team and waved when they saw themselves on the screen. Hathaway lives in New York with her husband, Adam Shulman, and their two sons.
Hathaway was one of many celebrities spotted at the Super Bowl on Sunday, which saw the Eagles defeat the Kansas City Chiefs 40-22. Footage shared by the NFL showed the Devil Wears Prada star ecstatically cheering as the Eagles took home the win over the Chiefs.
Hathaway shares sons Jack and Jonathan, 8, with Shulman, whom she married in 2012. Hathaway and Jack have a pastime of attending sporting events together, as the pair attended a New York Knicks game together in November 2024.
As for Jonathan, last summer, the Princess Diaries star was seen with her eldest son at Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour in Gelsenkirchen, Germany. The mother-son duo had the time of their lives, as Hathaway traded friendship bracelets with concertgoers and Jonathan handed out snacks and water bottles to fans across the barricade.
“Did not think I would be spending #GelsenkirchenTSTheErasTour in front of Anne Hathaway and her family,” one fan wrote via X at the time alongside a selfie with Hathaway. “She was the sweetest, taking pictures and dancing and her son came to bring us snacks from their stash and traded bracelets with us.”
“Thank you phenomenal, moving, powerful, fearless @taylorswift,” Hathaway gushed of the show via Instagram Story in July 2024. “Huge shout-out to the incredible Eras crew! Best picture-wrap celebration EVER!”
In a March 2022 interview with WSJ. Magazine, Hathaway gushed about feeling “fully landed and fully here” after becoming a parent.
“It’s not like I was lacking integrity, but it made me want to be completely, on every level, true to my word,” she said at the time. “And that meant stopping any nonsense that I had going on inside myself. And it’s little breaks that you give yourself sometimes when you know that you’re not being your best self.”
She added: “There’s this tendency to portray getting pregnant, having kids, in one light, as if it’s all positive. But I know from my own experience it’s so much more complicated than that.”
