Because he is concerned about airline safety, 50 Cent has stated that he will only travel on his own plane.
His revelation comes after Boeing was forced to deny a report that said several of its planes will blow up.
50 posted a screenshot of the report on Instagram and wrote: “All right, I can’t go out like that; I’m only flying private, so screw this.”
According to the Daily Mail, Boeing’s 777 aircraft’s wings may catch fire due to electrostatic discharge, a potentially fatal electrical flaw.
The FAA apparently suggested Boeing spend over $700,000 to fix the problem, despite having previously denied sending the directive.
Boeing has vehemently disagreed with the report’s conclusions, calling it “misleading and reckless.” It creates erroneous connections and sensationalizes the standard regulatory process that has helped make flying the safest form of transportation.
“To ensure protection against electromagnetic effects, modern commercial airplanes are designed with multiple redundancies,” they added. Over 3.9 billion people have been safely transported by the 777 aircraft in its nearly 30-year lifetime.
50 Cent, a hip-hop star, would not be the first to use private aviation. Notably, Rick Ross and Drake have each customized a private plane to promote their brands.
Concerns about the environment have already caused Drizzy to get criticism for taking a private jet.
In 2022, a report criticized him and a number of other celebrities, including as Mark Wahlberg and Kim Kardashian, for taking incredibly short flights. “This is just them moving planes to whatever airport they are being stored at for anyone who was interested in the logistics,” Drake said in response to the accusations. No one ever takes that flight.

Drake’s OVO owl insignia is displayed on the outside of the Boeing 767, which can accommodate over thirty guests and has amenities including large leather recliners, velvet couches, and a wide-screen TV.
