Olympic legend Simone Biles boasts a $27m net worth with her husband, Chicago Bears safety Jonathan Owens
Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens might share an impressive combined net worth of $27 million but more than 90 per cent of it belongs to the decorated Olympian.
Regarded as one of the greatest gymnasts of all time, Biles has certainly made her money’s worth from an outstanding career which has yielded 11 Olympic medals and 30 World Championship medals. At just 27-years-old, she is already the most decorated gymnast in history.
As expected, this has handed her plenty of financial reward since turning professional in 2015, and she is now reaping the benefits of it, having amassed a net worth of $25m, according to Celebrity Net Worth. Along with being one of the highest-paid Olympic athletes in the world, Biles also rakes it in through her endorsements and sponsorship deals.
Leading up to the postponed 2020 games, the seven-time Olympic gold medalist was the most-marketed U.S. athlete in terms of endorsements, earning an estimated $20m from various deals. As a highly-decorated famous gymnast, Biles’ face and name is worth a lot in the world of ad campaigns and product lines.

According to a 2021 Forbes estimate, she earns at least $5m annually in endorsements, which makes up the most of her annual income. In 2022, Forbes claims that Biles made roughly $10m, while in 2023 that number decreased slightly to $7.1m, yet she remains one of the world’s highest-paid female athletes.
Olympic medal winners in the U.S. also receive $37,500 for gold, $22,500 for silver, and $15,000 for bronze. With seven gold’s, two silver’s and two bronze medals at the Olympic Games, Biles would have made $337,500 from her achievements alone, which is just a smidgen of what she gets from endorsements.

The same goes for her NFL husband Jonathan Owens, who is heading into his second year with the Chicago Bears. Having entered the NFL in the 2018 Draft, the 29-year-old has also made his fair share of money since turning professional seven years ago, starting out with the Arizona Cardinals, Houston Texans and Green Bay Packers.
While his achievements aren’t on quite the same level as his wife, Owens has still enjoyed a lucrative career and amassed a total net worth of $2m, according to his Celebrity Net Worth profile. The majority of that is contributed to by his NFL contracts, which have often passed the $1m mark.
In December 2021, Owens signed a two-year, $1.175m contract with the Texans, before moving on in May 2023 and signing a one-year, $1.01m contract with the Packers. Last year, the safety signed a two-year, $4.75m contract with the Bears, which included a $750,000 signing bonus, $1.5m guaranteed, and an average annual salary of $2.375m.

Owens also benefits from various endorsements. His growing popularity within the sports community, highlighted by being named one of People magazine’s “Sexiest Men in Sports,” has undoubtedly contributed to his appeal for brand partnerships. Furthermore, his marriage to Biles has also helped to boost his profile.
Together, the couple have also invested in their future through real estate. In March 2023, Owens and Biles announced that they were building a new home, which has since turned into a $3 million custom waterfront mansion located in Spring, Texas.
The home features four bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, a mirrored ceiling, a freestanding bathtub, an expansive shower, and an upper-level balcony. It also includes a home gym, game room, theater, wet bar, and modern finishes, while their driveway is decked out with an impressive collection of luxury cars.
