But it was her constant canine companion Pippi who joined Jennifer Lawrence for a walk in New York’s Central Park on Monday.

The actress, 27, hid her face under a baseball cap pulled down over her hair and sunglasses as she walked her beloved pup.

J-Law showcased her slender figure in a white t-shirt and a pair of black Adidas athletic leggings.

She added black trainers that she wore with short white socks.

The movie star had her dog on an extendable lash attached to a harness and she had her earbuds in as she walked.

Jennifer has been linked romantically with art director Cooke Maroney, 33, following her breakup with her Mother! director beau Aaron Aronofsky.

‘The relationship has been going on a few weeks,’ a source told PageSix.com last week. ‘But they have been very private and careful not to be seen together.’

That all changed though when the pair very publicly went for a meal together at the popular Italian eatery Sant Ambroeus in Lower Manhattan on Tuesday June 5.

They were photographed smiling and laughing together as they strolled along the street.

The Hunger Games star has previously been in a number of high-profile romances including Coldplay frontman Chris Martin in 2014 and actor Nicholas Hoult of X-Men fame around 2012-2014.
