“Move on and forget about all of this…” The Avenue has revealed the official trailer for a detective mystery thriller titled Sleeping Dogs, yet another of these crime stories they’re serving up dime a dozen. Somehow they got Russell Crowe to star in this, even though it looks like some direct-to-video quality schlock. An ex-homicide detective with memory loss is forced to solve a brutal murder he can’t recall. He undergoes a special treatment and begins to re-examine an old case involving a brutal murder and wrongful conviction. But as evidence uncovers secrets tied to his forgotten past, he is led to a chilling truth – sometimes, it’s best to let sleeping dogs lie. Russell Crowe stars as Roy Freeman, joined by Karen Gillan, Márton Csókás, Thomas M. Wright, Harry Greenwood, and Tommy Flanagan. Not really much in here – view below.
