The gymnast superstar was joined by husband Jonathan Owens on a romantic getaway.
Simone Biles went horse riding with her husband. The pair went horse riding on the beach and in the ocean. They documented their adventure on Instagram stories with some cute photos.
Biles and Owens were seen holding hands in one of the photos as they rode along the beach. Seven-time Olympic gold medalist Biles just celebrated her 28th birthday.
She had a cowboy-themed party for the big occasion. Her NFL star husband Owens sent a touching tribute on social media to his wife, saying, “Happy birthday to my wife, my queen, my best friend, my everything. Being married to you is everything I could’ve ever asked for. A beautiful, funny, intelligent and confident person that motivates me to be the best version of myself every day. I’m so blessed to have met someone as amazing as you, baby. I cherish every moment that we spend together.”
The pair recently had their long-awaited honeymoon in South Africa. They tied the knot in 2023 but finally got away earlier this year. Owens is enjoying an NFL offseason while Biles is free from training for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
Biles still hasn’t announced whether or not she will return to the Olympics when it comes to Los Angeles in 2028. She also sent a message about her plans with Owens during the honeymoon in South Africa.
Just before their trip back, the gymnastics icon Biles posted a collage of pictures of her favorite moments on Instagram. One of the pictures showed Biles and Owens posing with the ocean in the background. The 28-year-old also showed a screenshot of a message she posted on Threads, which read, “South Africa, you have a piece of my heart.”
Biles captioned the Instagram post, “cape-tured moments.” One fan replied, “You and Jonathan are adorable.”
