Scott Disick has continued to revamp his home with his latest renovation mirroring part of ex Kourtney Kardashian’s lavish abode she shares with Travis Barker
Scott Disick has been busy giving his home a makeover and it seems he has drawn his inspiration from ex Kourtney Kardashian.
Scott has added a cinema room to his house and he’s also been busy revamping his bathrooms and other living areas. While Scott is known to like neutral colors and lavish furnishings, his new additions to his home look very similar to those picked out by Kourtney and her husband Travis Barker.
Taking to Instagram to share his latest update, Scott showed off his luxurious living room where he has added a comfy corner sofa, boucle chairs and a toasty fire. One wall has a print of the Mona Lisa adorning it while above the fireplace – in the same style as Kourtney and Travis – hangs a huge TV.
While Kourtney surprised her fans by unveiling a huge screen in her dining room this week when she is known to have a strict no-screens at dinner rule, Scott shunned that option favoring his screens for his lounge and cinema room. Scott’s new sofa was quite the addition, costing a huge $5,000.
Sharing the picture of his comfy looking couch he captioned the post “New sofa vibe,” and tagged the outlet where he purchased it from – interiors brand Six Penny. The Devyn design sofa is filled with feather and down and has cotton canvas upholstery.
Scott appears to have opted for the shade Beach Walk, a creamy neutral toned color. The soft and comfortable couch also comes in colors including light and dark blue, pink and khaki green. However, the more neutral tone was the perfect fit for Scott’s chosen aesthetic throughout his home.
As well as his lounge makeover Scott has had the four bathrooms in his home renovated allowing for his three children with Kourtney – Mason, Penelope and Reign – to enjoy the luxury of a bathroom each when they come to stay with him. Earlier this year it was reported that Mason has already moved in with his dad full-time with the 14-year-old preferring to stay with his father.
Kourtney was reportedly left devastated by the decision as she did not want the children to live separately. Speaking to Life & Style an insider said: “She is heartbroken over it. While Kourtney is giving Mason space to work through his feelings, at the end of the day, she blames Scott.”
They continued: “The kids can have all the sugar and junk food they want [at his house], and they can stay up as late as they want and watch whatever they want. [He] buys them anything they ask for. It’s no surprise they all love going to his house.” The insider added: “They love their dad, but it helps that it’s a free-for-all when they’re over there!”
