Paige did better than many haters expected
Luke Kwon beat Roger Steele, Sean Walsh and Wesley Bryan on the last hole to become the first winner of the Creator Classic played at the East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta (Georgia).
The Creators Classic is a 16-celebrity tournament created in partnership with the PGA Tour and the Pro Shop production company as a prelude to the FedEx Cup, the Tour Championship.
How did Paige Spiranac finish the Creator Classic after eight years without competing?
Media influencer Spiranac finished the tournament in ninth place with a 2-over-par, more than meeting her goal of avoiding last place after eight years without competing. “I’m the favorite to finish last,” she went on to say.
“It’s been fun to come back to compete again and relive those feelings. It’s been an incredible experience on a great golf course,” Spiranac told the PGA Tour after finishing the tournament.
Spiranac competed in the 2015 Omega Dubai Ladies Masters.
