Chris Brown has earned his 100th total week at No. 1 on Billboard’s R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay Chart. The R&B star is the second artist to achieve this feat.
Only Drake is ahead of Brown with a record 176 weeks at No. 1 in the R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay chart’s more than two decades old history.
Brown’s current single “Residuals” debuted at No. 1 on the chart dated February 15.
A song from the deluxe edition of Brown’s 11th studio album, 11:11, released on April 11, 2024, “Residuals” earned 15.8 million audience impressions in the tracking week ending on February 6, according to Luminate.
“Residuals” has spent 27 weeks on the chart, which includes 11 weeks at No. 2. The song was nominated for best R&B performance at this year’s Grammy Awards.
The R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay chart ranks songs by combined audience totals from adult R&B and mainstream R&B/hip-hop radio stations.
