Offset is not actually related by blood to his fellow Migos bandmates Quavo and the late Takeoff, a new report has revealed, after years of fans thinking the trio were relatives.
It has long been reported that Quavo was Takeoff’s uncle, and Offset a cousin of Quavo.
And while Takeoff is indeed Quavo’s nephew, a new Variety article has revealed Offset is not actually ‘biologically related’ to his Migos bandmates.
‘While Quavo was Takeoff’s uncle, the two were just three years apart in age, and although Offset is often referred to as Quavo’s cousin, they are actually not biologically related,’ the article clarifies.
The wide-ranging profile on Offset sees the rapper, 31, discuss a range of issues, from his wife Cardi B to his late bandmate Takeoff.
