There’s no doubt she looked irresistible in her emerald green gown.
But Scarlett Johansson was rather taken aback by a certain admirer’s advances on Sunday night.
The 30-year-old actress was posing for photographs on the Academy Awards’ red carpet when John Travolta, 61, crept up from behind to plant a big smacker on her cheek.
Don’t mind if I do: Scarlett Johansson was taken aback by a very affectionate John Travolta on the Oscars red carpet on Sunday
Incoming: The Her actress initially appeared unaware of the impending smooch
And the blonde beauty didn’t quite know what to do with herself during the awkward encounter, keeping her arms down by her side as he placed his hand on her waist.
The somewhat creepy exchange comes exactly a year after John made headlines with his presenting blunder at the 2014 Academy Awards.
The Face Off actor mispronounced Idina Menzel’s name – calling her Adele Dazeem as he introduced the Let It Go singer onto the stage.
Just go with it: The 30-year-old actress didn’t quite know what to do when the actor leaned in to give her a smooch
He’s friendly: The 61-year-old star placed a hand on Scarlett’s waist as he crept up from behind
Not awkward at all: John obviously couldn’t help himself when he saw the stunning actress
Laughing it off: The Avengers actress couldn’t quite believe what just happened
Hourglass: Scarlett looked curvaceous in an emerald green Versace gown
Meanwhile the 30-year-old Avengers beauty donned the curve-enhancing Versace frock along with an intricately designed large beaded choker that matched with her jewel-toned ensemble.
The dress featured a low V-cut and racer back and she also accessorised the look with gold earrings with jade and diamond gems.
Scarlett also combed her short blonde locks in a pompadour, which definitely showed off the freshly buzzed sides and back of her head.
Effortless: The Her actress wore an understated makeup look with natural eyes and a touch of pink lip
Green goddess: The dress featured a low V-cut and racer-style back and she accessorised the look with a beaded choker
Her style: Scarlett showed off her freshly shaved hairdo and some pretty jade and diamond earrings
Handsome couple: The actress was accompanied by husband Romain Dauriac
New parents: The couple welcomed their daughter Rose Dorothy in September
Big production: Scarlett was dwarfed by the towering backdrop at the Dolby Theatre
The Lost In Translation star had natural, complimentary make-up on her porcelain skin as she added a pop of colour in the form of pink lipstick.
She looked absolutely stunning as she flaunted her enviable figure just five months after giving birth to Rose Dorothy in the clinging dress.
The previous evening the Her star once again showed off her fabulous figure in a very simple mini dress.
Even stevens: Idina Menzel got her own back on John later in the evening by pronouncing his name wrong as she introduced him on stage
Up close: The Grease actor proved once again that for him personal space is never a barrier between friends
Mesmerized: The Academy shared this snap of the actress enjoying Lady Gaga’s performance backstage
In the spotlight: The mother-of-one later jumped on stage to present an award
Good friends: Scarlett and John looked friendly backstage as they clasped hands and chatted
No more kisses: Scarlett certainly appeared more comfortable with a hug
Enjoying herself: The Don Jon star sipped on a glass of champagne backstage as she chatted to other guests
The wide-strapped, knee length dress had just a small overlapping fold in the front as its only embellishment.
When you are the only woman in the world to be voted Esquire’s Sexiest Woman Alive twice, you don’t need to add much to your outfit either: Scarlett’s only accessories were her light grey shoes, matching clutch purse and plain diamond stud earrings.
She can soon be seen reprising her role as superhero Black Widow in Avengers: Age Of Ultron, which is set for release in May.
